Andrzej Sławiński, the Deputy Director for Cooperation and Development

Andrzej Sławiński (PhD) has been appointed by Krzysztof Tchórzewski, the Minister of Energy, for the position of the Deputy Director for Cooperation and Development in the Institute of Power Engineering, from the 1st of August 2018.

Andrzej Sławiński (PhD) graduated from the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. For 20 years he was a research worker in the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, and then the Center of Laser Metal Technologies at the Kielce University of Technology and the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. Between 2000 and 2008 he was the coordinator of Energy Theme in the National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the European Union.

Since 2009, he has been employed in the Institute of Power Engineering,  performing functions of the head of CENERG Center for Energy Research Integration, the advisor to the Director in scientific affairs and the Director's representative for international cooperation and statutory activities.
