In the magazine Wiadomości Elektrotechniczne there was published the article entitled: An innovative method of minimizing earth faults cut-off times in the depth of the MV network based on the MiROD-6 device), co-authored by Emil Tomczak, researcher from IEn's Automation and Protection Laboratory.

The article discusses the problem of elimination of ground faults in depth MV networks, an analysis has been made so far available on the market solutions based on reclosers, disconnector points or the functionality of SCADA systems. An innovative was proposed method of minimization of ground faults switching times based on the MiROD-6 protection and control device
