Institute of Power Engineering - National Research Institute is actively involved in the implementation of a number of international initiatives:
- IEn is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Energy Research Alliance EERA and participates in the implementation of several joint research programs of EERA (Wind, Smart Grids, Bioenergy and AMPEA),
- IEn has been involved in a number of 7th Framework Programme projects, Research Fund for Coal and Steel projects and others programmes,
- IEn is a member of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Joint Undertaking,
- IEn participates in works of the CIGRE, IEC and WEC.
