
Mariusz Mazur, MSc. Eng.
In November 1990, he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Gdańsk University of Technology, earning a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics within the program Electrical Energy Processing and Utilization.
In December 1990, he joined the Institute of Power Engineering, Gdańsk Division. He initially worked in the Control Systems Department, where he was involved in the development of voltage control systems for synchronous generators. His research and engineering activities focused on digital control systems and power system stabilizers, implemented on large-scale generating units.
Since 2002, he has headed the largest department within the Gdańsk Division of the Institute, employing 45 staff members. In this role, he established cooperation with numerous international partners, successfully expanding the markets for the Institute’s services and engineering solutions.
Since 2020, he has been representing Poland in Study Committee A1 of CIGRE.
He is the author of more than 20 scientific publications and conference paper
