What is the Prototype Production Branch in Bialystok?

The Prototype Production Branch in Białystok conducts research, development and implementation of equipment for professional and industrial power engineering, mainly in the field of switchgear, electromechanical drives and controllers for medium voltage networks. In addition, it participates in the design and completion of automatic MV disconnection points controlled via radio, GSM/GPRS or TETRA networks. The Branch also carries out design and research work in the field of voltage indicators and phase reconcilers of various voltages, portable earthing switches for LV, MV and HV lines and equipment, insulating baffles for LV, MV power equipment, composite MV support insulators and other equipment. The Branch's implementation activities include small batch production of 24 kV overhead disconnectors, electromechanical drives for switches, voltage indicators and phase reconcilers from 50 V to 110 kV, portable earthing switches, specialised ladders and platforms for power poles, wire tensioning brackets, 20 kV composite support insulators and MV insulation baffles.
