What is the Department of Electrohydraulic Devices?
The Department of Electrohydraulic Devices offers modern water turbine control systems equipped with digital speed controllers and oil supply systems for all types of water turbines.
What does the Department of Electrohydraulic Devices do?
The Department's activities also include master control systems, visualisation and control of power plant operation (SCADA), technical dam control systems (ASTKZ), water level and grate loss measurement systems, speed measurement systems, power hydraulics systems, oil-pressure systems, as well as start-up and hydromechanical protection. In addition, the Electrohydraulic Equipment Department performs expert assessments of the degree of wear and tear of turbine control systems and the scope of the required modernisation. The department also offers a full assessment of the technical condition of hydroelectric power plant automation systems and determination of the benefits of managing interconnected renewable energy generation units (RES) forming a virtual power plant (VPP). The assessment can include, among other things, the inventory and selection of generating units with the potential to be included in the virtual power plant.
