What is the Automation Division?

The Automation Division is part of the Department of Automation and Systems Analysis and offers, among other things, modern digital excitation and voltage regulation systems for synchronous generators (AVRs - Automatic Voltage Regulators) providing the full range of benefits of a modern digital regulator, very good regulation properties (both static and dynamic), optimally selected operating parameters and comfort of operation, as well as reliability and high quality of manufacture.

What does the Automation Division do?

The Division's offer also includes innovative sensorless frequency start-up systems for synchronous machines (SFC - Static Frequency Converters), which are used in gas turbines, synchronous compensators and pumped storage power plants. In addition, as part of its activities, the team offers connection expertise for energy storage and renewable energy sources, as well as analyses verifying the compliance of generators connected to the electricity system with the requirements of the grid codes. As part of compliance verification, analyses are carried out for the Interim Underground Voltage (ION) and Final Operating Permit (FON) of both conventional and renewable energy sources (RES).
