On the 18-20th of November 2018 there was held the 12th annual CEEC 2018 conference in Bratislava, organised by the Slovak Foreign Policy Association. Organizers invited Prof. Tomasz Gałka, the director of the Institute of Power Engineering who presented achievements of the Institute during the Research and Innovation in Energy session, in particular in the field of low-emission combustion and hydrogen technologies.

On the 18-20th of November 2018 there was held the 12th annual CEEC 2018 conference in Bratislava, organised by the Slovak Foreign Policy Association. Organizers invited Prof. Tomasz Gałka, the director of the Institute of Power Engineering who presented achievements of the Institute during the Research and Innovation in Energy session, in particular in the field of low-emission combustion and hydrogen technologies.

The aim of the 12th annual CEEC 2018 conference is to examine prospects for creating the Energy Union from the perspective of the Visegrad countries. Furthermore, the conference aims to assess the consequences of global energy trends both on the energy security and economic competitiveness of the EU and, in particular, the region of Central Europe. It will pay special attention to the process of development of gas infrastructure in the region of Central Europe, development trends in electricity markets, cleaner mobility, energy efficiency, transmission, decarbonization, and R[&]I in the field of energy. Thematic evening sessions of the conference will also include other specific topics that are central to present developments in the energy sector of the EU and the region of Central Europe.
