The 47th International Conference and Expo on Advanced Ceramics and Composites (ICACC2023) took place in Daytona Beach, FL on 22-27.01.2023. The conference is an annual event organized by the American Ceramic Society (ACerS) bringing together scientists, technology suppliers, integrators and engineers from different fields connected to ceramic materials.

The employees of the Institute of Power Engineering (members of the Center for Hydrogen Technologies) actively participated in the event, and delivered four following presentations at the “20th International Symposium on Solid Oxide Cells (SOC): materials, science and technology” session:

  1. Kupecki J. et al., Optimization of solid oxide electrolyzers - through modified microstructure to enhanced macro-level performance
  2. Niemczyk A. et al., Enhancement of the SOE performance by fine-tuning the composition and microstructure of the air electrode based on state-of-the-art materials
  3. Kluczowski R. et al., Investigation of Cobalt-free air electrodes for solid oxide electrochemical cells
  4. Kosiorek M. et al., Composite glass-zirconia sealings for solid oxide electrolyzers fabricated by 3D printing
