HydroGEN - the innovative solid oxide electrolyzer was among the winners of the 25th edition of the Competition of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and The National Center for Research and Development "Polish Product of the Future". This distinction is an appreciation of many years of work of the team of the Centre for Hydrogen Technologies (CTH2).

HydroGEN - the innovative solid oxide electrolyzer was among the winners of the 25th edition of the Competition of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and The National Center for Research and Development "Polish Product of the Future". This distinction is an appreciation of many years of work of the team of the Centre for Hydrogen Technologies (CTH2).

The final gala of the Competition took place on 20th April, 2023 in the Physics Hall of the Warsaw University of Technology. The competition promotes products with the greatest potential for market success in Poland and abroad. In the jubilee, 25th edition of the competition, prizes were awarded in three categories: product of the future of higher education and science institutions, product of the future entrepreneurs, joint product of the future of higher education and science institutions and entrepreneurs. When evaluating the submitted projects, the following criteria were taken into account: the level of innovation, the usefulness of the product's features or functionalities for its end users, market potential, the level of advancement of work on the product, the strategy of introducing the product to the market, as well as its environmental impact. Additionally, owned patents and patent applications were scored. The projects submitted to the competition were assessed by industry experts and the jury of the competition, which included representatives of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, the Polish Development Fund, Industrial Development Agency, Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations - Chief Technical Organization, Warsaw University of Technology, University of Warsaw, as well as The National Centre for Research and Development and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. In total, 148 projects were submitted to the competition. The jury awarded a total of 18 awards and distinctions.
