On 27th January 2023 Scientific conference of DRES2Market Project Distributed generation - effective solutions for the energy sector took place in the Institute of Power Engineering.
Main objectives of the conference were presentation and discussion of the effective solutions for the energy sector related to increasing share of distributed generation based on renewable energy sources i.e.: solar PV and inland wind energy in the distribution network.
Participants were welcomed by Mr. Ireneusz Zyska, Secretary of State, Government Plenipotentiary for Renewable Energy Sources of the Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment and Grzegorz Tchorek, PhD, DSc - Deputy Director of the Institute of Power Engineering for Economic Affairs.
DRES2Market is a project of the European Union's Horizon 2020 research program aimed at developing a complete and comprehensive framework to facilitate the active participation of distributed generation based on renewable energies (solar photovoltaic and wind) in the electricity market and the provision of ancillary services to the electricity system. During the conference the effective solutions for the energy sector related to increasing the share of distributed generation based on renewable energy sources in the distribution network were presented.
