On the 6th of June 2019, there was held the 65th Anniversary of the Institute of Power Engineering. More than 250 people took part in the ceremony, which took place in the High Voltage Laboratory Building in Warsaw. We had the pleasure to host representatives of research institutes, universities, energy companies, enterprises and many other institutions cooperating with the Institute of Power Engineering.
On the 6th of June 2019, there was held the 65th Anniversary of the Institute of Power Engineering. More than 250 people took part in the ceremony, which took place in the High Voltage Laboratory Building in Warsaw. We had the pleasure to host representatives of research institutes, universities, energy companies, enterprises and many other institutions cooperating with the Institute of Power Engineering. Among special guests there were: prof. Leszek Rafalski, Chairman of the Main Council of Research Institutes and Adel El Gammal, Secretary General of the European Energy Research Alliance EERA from Brussels.
During the ceremony, the distinguished employees of the Institute were granted gold and silver awards of the Institute of Power Engineering. Prof. Bartłomiej Głowacki, a member of IEn's Scientific Council, gave a lecture on "The Present and Future of Energy Research".
In the artistic part of the ceremony, the La Tempesta band performed their concert of baroque music entitled "Energy of music".
