On May 26, 2023, the Center for Hydrogen Technologies (CTH2) at the Institute of Power Engineering was visited by representatives of ENEC (Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation) - Sultan Al Khuroosi, Nuclear Research and Development Director, Jaafar Al Hashmi, Training Director and representatives of Masdar.

On May 26, 2023, the Center for Hydrogen Technologies (CTH2) at the Institute of Power Engineering was visited by representatives of ENEC (Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation) - Sultan Al Khuroosi, Nuclear Research and Development Director, Jaafar Al Hashmi, Training Director and representatives of Masdar.

The delegates were presented with the hydrogen production and usage technologies developed in CTH2, including SOE solid oxide electrolysers, SOFC solid oxide fuel cells, rSOC reversible systems, TWSC thermochemical methods of water decomposition as well as multi-fuel and hydrogen burners, gas generators and hydrogen microturbines.

The Institute was represented by: Jarosław Hercog, Deputy Director for Cooperation and Development, Michał Wierzbicki, Deputy Head of Department of High Temperature Electrochemical Processes, Bartosz Świątkowski, Head of Thermal Processes Department, Paweł Bocian, PhD Eng. and Maciej Boiski, M. Sc. Eng.

The meeting was an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with companies from the United Arab Emirates.
