Employees of the Institute of Power Engineering - National Research Institute Heat Engineering Branch ITC: Jacek Karczewski, PhD, and Joanna Kopania, PhD, took part in the 9th edition of the Occupational Safety - Environment - Management Conference.
The conference was organized by the College of Technical Sciences of the University of Labor Management (WSZOP). This year's installment of the event took place on April 18-19, 2024 in Wisla, and was attended by about 100 people. Dr. Jacek Karczewski, Eng. gave a paper entitled. “Occupational health and safety in the power industry, with reference to employees of external companies performing work on power facilities”. The paper was prepared within the framework of the VI stage of the multi-year program entitled “Government Program for Improvement of Safety and Working Conditions”, financed in the field of scientific research and development works from the funds of the National Center for Research and Development. Project No. III PN.10_IEn entitled. “Good practices and instructions related to the organization of safe performance of work on electrical power equipment by employees of entities external to the operator of such equipment or installations”. The paper was qualified for publication as a chapter in a monograph to be published by WSZOP.
