On the 15th of February 2019, the fourth edition of Poland-Japan Clean Coal Technologies Seminar took place in Warsaw. Marek Skrzypkiewicz (PhD) and Jakub Kupecki (PhD) took part in this event representing IEn's Department of High Temperature Electrochemical Processes (CPE).
The seminar concerned clean technologies for converting coal into electricity. During the meeting, industry and science representatives from Japan and Poland presented the latest achievements in this area. Marek Skrzypkiewicz (PhD) delivered the presentation focusing on achievements of the Institute of Power Engineering and the status of fuel cell technology fueled with solid fuels, including the world's first stack of SOFC cells with a continuous fuel supply.
