IEn's Department of High Temperature Electrochemical Processes hosted the annual meeting of ERA-NET project BIO-CCHP: Advanced biomass CCHP based on gasification, SOFC and cooling machines, which was organised on the 13-14th of May 2019 in Warsaw's IEn premises.
The overall objective of BIO-CCHP is to develop a novel trigeneration system including biomass gasification, a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) and a cooling machine, in order to produce electricity, heat and cold (CCHP), maximizing the efficiency and flexibility of the system. Consortium includes the TU Graz, BIOENERGY 2020+ GmbH, SynCraft Engineering GmbH, Cortus Energy AB, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, Modern Technologies and Filtration Sp. z o.o. and IEN.
The project consotium is composed of the following partners: Graz University of Technology, Institute of Thermal Engineering (Austria), BIOENERGY2020+ GmbH (Austria), Instytut Energetyki (Poland), SynCraft Engineering GmbH (Austria), Hargassner GmbH, Wenig im Innkreis (Austria), MTF Modern Technologies and Filtration Sp.zo.o. (Poland), Cortus Energy AB (Sweden) oraz RISE Research Institute of Sweden, Energy and Circular Economy (Sweden).
