On November 28-29, 2018, the XIth conference "Renovations and Maintenance in Power Engineering" was held in Licheń. Scientific patronage over the conference was held by IEn's Thermal Technology Branch „ITC” in Łódź. The Director of ITC IEn, Jacek Karczewski (PhD), chaired the session on the modernization of power plants, he also took part in the debate of experts "Property management during changes".

During the conference, 27 papers were delivered in 5 thematic sessions, there were 27 stands in the exhibition space, and over 210 participants took part in the conference.
