Combustion and Gasification Laboratory
Combustion and Gasification Laboratory in Warsaw is unique as is the only one in Poland enabling a complete set of studies starting from basic research conducted in the laboratory finishing with more complicated research in the industrial sector. The research objects are following: Dust burners, gas burners, combustion chambers and solid fuels gasification reactors. The research conducted in the Laboratory aim to develop new, ready to implement technical solutions.
The Laboratory consists of following research stations:
- Solid and gaseous fuel combustion (0,5MW),
- Gasification reactor,
- Solid fuels ignition testing ,
- Kinetics of volatiles degassing and solid residues combustion testing,
- Coal slagging intensity testing
