DEE – Energy Economics Laboratory
The Energy Economics Laboratory performs expertise and analysis concerning economic aspects of energy power sector.
The Laboratory's research area includes:
- energy security problems
- cost calculation and new categories of costs used in power sector
- development of energy balances and energy forecasts for Polish energy sector until 2050
- economic calculations used in power sector
- financing of innovative energy technologies
- development of renewables in Poland and EU countries
- costs of energy carriers and their share in industrial production costs and in households expenditures
- energy carriers prices.
The Laboratory has got advanced programs and vast amount of data concerning power and fuel sectors.
The head of the laboratory is Hanna Bartoszewicz-Burczy, Ph.D.
