The Fuels Preparation Laboratory was established in 2008 and includes two locations in Warsaw. The total area of about 650 m2.
The Fuel Analysis Laboratory conducts research related to technical analysis of coal, biomass, biodegradable waste and other alternative solid fuels. All obtained results are entered to the database , what significantly facilitates comparison of results, they verification and control. Fuel Analysis Laboratory has obtained a Laboratory Proficiency Testing Certificate awarded by Profic. Testing Centre of Institute for Chemical Processing of Coal and is a member or a Supervised Laboratories Network LABIOMEN.
Combustion and Gasification Laboratory in Warsaw is unique as is the only one in Poland enabling a complete set of studies starting from basic research conducted in the laboratory finishing with more complicated research in the industrial sector. The research objects are following: Dust burners, gas burners, combustion chambers and solid fuels gasification reactors. The research conducted in the Laboratory aim to develop new, ready to implement technical solutions.
Fuels Analysis Research Laboratory is accredited by the Polish Center for Accreditation (certificate of the accreditation No. AB 1420. The Laboratory applies a management system in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 norm. We perform analyses according to national and international standards (PN, ISO) as well as to the reference methods.
