On May 8, 2024, the public defense of Krystian Machaj, M.Sc. was held at the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Wroclaw University of Technology.
The dissertation entitled "Studies on the applicability of solid oxide fuel cell technology and ammonia as a fuel in the maritime sector" combined unique experimental studies and advanced numerical modeling, which were conducted in the IEN-PIB laboratories. The achievements included in the work significantly increase knowledge on the possibilities of building installations with SOFC cells for transport and stationary solutions, taking into account methods of reducing degradation and maximizing the efficiency of the installation.
