We are pleased to announce that the Certification and Inspection Team of the Institute of Power Engineering - National Research Institute has successfully passed the process of extending the scope of accreditation No. AC 117 to include power generation module components compliant with the NC RfG grid code.
The new scope of accreditation enables the issuance of certificates of conformity for power generation module components (PV photovoltaic inverters and power generation module controllers) meeting the requirements of Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/631 of April 14, 2016 establishing a grid code on requirements for connection of generating units to the grid (OJ. OJ EU L 112/1 of 27.4.2016), the General Application Requirements, resulting from Commission Regulation EU 2016/631 of April 14, 2016 establishing a network code concerning requirements for connection of generating units to the grid, approved by the decision of the President of the Energy Regulatory Authority of January 2, 2019, and the PN-EN 50549-1 standard.
These certificates are necessary for connecting power generation modules to electricity grids, confirming the compliance of equipment with safety and reliability criteria.
As of May 1, 2022, a list of equipment with valid certificates of conformity issued by certification bodies accredited in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17065 is available on the website of the Polish Electricity Transmission and Distribution Association (PTPiREE).
