Description
This project focuses on the development and testing of an intelligent, on-line diagnostic system. This system should help to minimise corrosion and slagging risks, increased by the newly-enforce emission regulations and the broadening fuel portfolio, including hard coal, lignite and biomass. This will be realised via dedicated corrosion/slagging and steam flow meter sensors with an “artificial intelligent” software interface. The system will be developed and tested under laboratory through full-scale conditions. Next, two 380 MWe utility boilers with different low NOx systems in Poland will be equipped with the developed diagnostic system, where it will be operated for one year.
