Description

Beyond the main goal specified in the announcement – delivering a prototype SOFC-CHP system capable of operating with various hydrogen blends, natural gas, and purified biogas – the SO-FREE project will aim to create a standardized stack module interface. This interface will enable full interchangeability of different types of SOFC stacks within a given SOFC-CHP system. The proposed interface project will be presented to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) as a proposal for a new standardization goal at the international level.
