On April 24-25, employees of the Energy Institute - National Research Institute and the Center for Hydrogen Technologies (CTH2) participated in the Central European Hydrogen Technologies Forum. H2Poland.
It was a time for talks, discussions and reflections on hydrogen. The Institute of Power Engineering - National Research Institute Center for Hydrogen Technologies (CTH2), together with ORLEN S.A., presented its high-efficiency cogeneration plants with SOFC cells, which are being developed under the Microcogeneration H2 project. The aim of the “Microcogeneration H2” project is to develop a functional, high-efficiency microcogeneration system powered by hydrogen and, during the energy transition, natural gas. The developed technology of combined heat and power generation (mCHP-SOFC) is based on highly efficient electrochemical processes taking place in stacks of solid oxide fuel cells SOFC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell), which are the “heart” of the systems. At a joint booth with Toyota Central Europe - Poland, we presented the SOE electrolyzer - Polish Product of the Future.
