The Management Systems Laboratory (USM) includes in its scope:
- initiating cooperation with enterprises in the field of IT services, preparing offers for design, software and implementation of computer systems, selection of software, pre-implementation analyses,
- delivery of software and implementation of computer systems supporting business management, and operational supervision,
- development of design and software assumptions for new computer systems, cooperating with existing IT systems and for adaptation of functioning systems,
- ongoing maintenance of software and databases, testing the effectiveness of computer systems, diagnosing the causes of failures and malfunctions, reporting any failures and malfunctions to software producers or their authors,
- installation and reinstallation of computer systems
- conducting training on computer software
- cooperating with users of computer systems and providing technical support services,
- cooperating with programmers and implementers of computer systems,
- supervising and carrying out timely upgrades for end customers using software from external producers.
